Legon Cities make Stonebwoy’s brother latest signing
Legon Cities, renowned for their unique halftime shows featuring top musicians, are once again making headlines with an exciting addition to their squad.
The club has signed attacking midfielder Elijah Satekla, younger brother of Ghanaian music icon Stonebwoy, on a two-year contract.
Satekla, who has chosen to focus on a professional football career, joins the team ahead of the second half of the season.
He was recently spotted at a high-profile football event alongside Arsenal legend Emmanuel Adebayor, showcasing his passion for the sport.
His signing comes as Legon Cities aim to improve their performance and escape the relegation zone after a difficult first round.
While the club has yet to make an official announcement, they teased fans by sharing a Stonebwoy song on social media, hinting at Satekla’s arrival.
The midfielder becomes Legon Cities’ fourth signing during the January transfer window, joining the likes of former Kotoko winger Emmanuel Gyamfi.
The University of Ghana-based club currently sits 17th in the league standings with 14 points from 17 matches.
With Satekla’s addition, Legon Cities hope to strengthen their squad and turn their fortunes around in the second round, proving their determination to remain a force in the top flight.
